Disc Test Australia

Terms of use and sale

Last updated 2 October 2026

These terms apply when you use disctest.com.au or buy a report from Disc Test Australia ("we", "us"). By using the site or making a purchase you agree to them. If you are buying for a team, you also agree to them on behalf of the people you invite.

What the assessment is

Our assessment is an original behavioural questionnaire based on the DISC model first described by William Moulton Marston in 1928, which is in the public domain. It describes how people tend to behave, particularly at work, and is provided for self-awareness and team development.

What it is not

It is not a psychological, clinical or diagnostic assessment. It has not been independently validated. It is not a measure of ability, intelligence, integrity or job performance, and it does not predict how someone will perform in a role.

It must not be used to make recruitment, promotion, redundancy, pay or any other employment decision about any person. If you use it that way you do so against our express instruction and at your own risk, and you agree to indemnify us against any claim that results.

We are an independent Australian business and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any other publisher, distributor or reseller of DISC-based assessments. We do not claim any accreditation.

Taking the test

The test is free to take and you can see your style and scores without paying. You must answer every set honestly and in one sitting, and the result is only as useful as the answers behind it. Your result describes tendencies, not fixed traits, and may change over time.

Buying a report

Prices are shown on the site in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment is taken by card through Stripe. A full report is generated and delivered as soon as payment is confirmed. Pair and team reports give you a link to share with the people taking part, and each report is generated when that person completes the test.

When you buy a pair or team report you are responsible for inviting the participants, for telling them their result will be visible to you in the way described in our Privacy policy, and for using the results only for self-awareness and team development.

Refunds

Our Refund policy forms part of these terms. In short, because reports are generated instantly and cannot be returned, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds once a report has been generated, but nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Access codes

Access codes are issued at our discretion for specific people or purposes. They may not be shared publicly, sold or redistributed, and we may withdraw a code at any time.

Your report

Your report is for your personal use, or for use within the team it was bought for. You may share your own report with whoever you choose. You may not resell reports, use the site to provide assessments to your own clients, copy our questionnaire or report text, or present our content as your own.

Our content

The questionnaire, the report text, the site design and the Disc Test Australia name are ours. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works from them without our written permission, beyond what is needed to use your own report.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site or service, and may change prices for future purchases, at any time.

Liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have under a law that cannot be excluded.

Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from your use of the site or a report is limited to the amount you paid us for that report, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you or anyone else makes in reliance on a report.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
