Disc Test Australia

Privacy policy

Last updated 2 October 2026

Disc Test Australia ("we", "us") runs disctest.com.au. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English.

What we collect

When you take the test, we collect your answers to the questionnaire and the scores calculated from them. The test itself does not ask for your name or email.

If you unlock a full report, buy a pair or team report, or ask for a report to be emailed, we collect your name and email address so we can deliver it and so you can get back to it later.

If you pay, your card details go directly to our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your name, email, the amount paid and a payment reference.

If you contact us through the form or by email, we keep your message and your email address so we can reply.

We record anonymous events about how the site is used, such as how many people start the test, finish it and buy a report. These events are not linked to your name or email and do not use cookies.

Our web analytics are provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.

How we use it

To calculate your result and generate your report. To deliver your report by email and let you retrieve it with your link. To take payment and issue a receipt. To reply when you contact us. To understand how the site is used so we can improve it. To comply with our legal obligations, including keeping payment records for tax purposes.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to contact you.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, database and analytics), Stripe (payments) and Resend (sending email). Each receives only what it needs to do its job and is bound by its own privacy terms. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the site you agree to your information being handled this way.

We will disclose information if the law requires us to.

Team and pair reports

If you take the test through a link someone else bought, the person who bought it can see that you have completed the test and, for team reports, how your style sits alongside the rest of the team. They do not see your individual answers. If you would prefer your result not to be shared with the buyer, take the test as an individual instead.

How long we keep it

We keep your report and the answers behind it so you can retrieve it later. We keep payment records for seven years because tax law requires it. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. You can ask us to delete your report and answers at any time, see below.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your report and answers. Email [email protected] and we will act on it within 30 days, usually much sooner. We may need to keep payment records even if you ask us to delete your report.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that use industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without authorisation, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Children

The site is intended for adults and for workplace use. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site.
